Who is the Most Powerful? (Hindu Mythology)

One day Brahma and Vishnu were both thinking the same thing, I am the most powerful! Not being able to decide who was the most powerful, they went to Shiv.

"Who is more powerful!" they asked at the same time.

Shiv smiled and slowly said "How about we have a contest, I will transform into the form of a pillar and whoever can find my top or bottom will win.". Brahma took the form of a swan and went to find the top while Vishnu took the form of a boar and went to find the bottom.

After a long way up, Brahma saw a Ketaki flower and remembered that that Shiv usually wears a Ketaki flower on his head and asked the flower if that was true. "Ketaki, are you here to show me that I have found the top of Shiv?" he asked.

"Yes I am!" said the Ketaki flower.

"I have won!" Brahma announced, "I have found the top of Shiv!" he said and flew down to where Shiv's head was and shortly after Vishnu came, Brahma said  "I found Shiv's top and have a Ketaki flower as my witness." and then gestured toward the Ketaki.

Shiv was enraged "Brahma you are cheat! You did not find my top!" and with that he made a demon that went and cut off Brahma's fifth head. "I curse you Brahma that no one will worship you in all of the 3 worlds and Ketaki you will not get worshipped in any of my temples!".

After the Ketaki and Brahma left Vishnu went to Shiv and said "Shiv, how could any of us ever doubted your powers, you are the most powerful of them all".
